Privacy policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Gamepad Emulator is made and sold by Operamatix LLC, a Florida company ("we" or "us"). This policy covers the browser extension, the unlock you can buy for it, and this website. We're responsible for the personal information described here.
The extension
The extension runs only on xbox.com/play pages. It reads your keyboard and mouse there only to turn them into controller input on the same page. It doesn't record, collect, sell, or send anything about you or what you play.
It keeps your settings, your free-trial play time, a random support code, and your unlock code in your browser's own extension storage. If browser sync is on, your browser may copy some of that to your other signed-in browsers. Removing the extension deletes it.
When you click Unlock, the extension opens our checkout page and includes the random support code, so your purchase can be matched to your copy of the extension.
Purchases
Purchases are sold through Link, a service run by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record. Stripe collects your payment details and billing information to take the payment and handle taxes, as described in the Stripe privacy policy. From a purchase, we receive your name, email address, billing country, the support code above, and the details of the purchase. We never see your full card number.
We use this information to deliver and restore your unlock, answer support requests, process refunds, prevent fraud, and keep the business and tax records the law requires.
This website
After you pay, this site checks your purchase with Stripe and creates your unlock code. It uses no cookies, ads, or analytics. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security.
Support emails
If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We share it only with the services that run the product (Stripe, our hosting provider, and our email provider), or when the law requires it.
Where your information is processed
We're based in the United States, and so are our main providers. If you live elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. Our providers protect transfers with recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal bases (European Economic Area and United Kingdom)
We use your information to perform our contract with you (delivering and restoring the unlock, refunds, and support), to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records), and for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and keeping the service secure.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, and support emails for as long as they're useful for helping you. Then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct, delete, or export it, or to stop or limit using it. Email us at the address below and we'll answer within 30 days. If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
The product isn't directed to children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
